Randolph joined WVU after serving as the defensive line coach at Toledo where he also worked with the Rockets special teams. Randolph played 10 seasons in the Canadian Football League, eight of those (1988-95) with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, helping them win Grey Cup Titles in 1988 and 1990. In 1996-97 he was team captain and a player/coach with the Montreal Alouettes. At Tennessee-Martin Randolph was a two-time All-Conference linebacker.
