Chuck Braswell played six games in 1974 on the varsity team. In 1975, he played backup to Paul Jordan at left cornerback according to the preseason depth chart. He was all-Big Ten, all-WPIAL and all-Big 33 at Clairton High school; he was also a standout in basketball during his school days.
